Remote Controls
When thinking of garage door remotes, most people probably picture the typical handheld version and may not be aware of the slick options available to pair with garage door openers. The opener or automation is the motor that drives the garage door. Garage door openers themselves are certainly not all created equally; you’re spoilt for choice with options that make a big difference to security, safety and efficiency – not to mention convenience

The garage door remote has a big part to play in the security of your garage, therefore it’s essential to choose a quality product. The prevalence of automatic garage doors has not deterred would-be thieves, who can hack transmitter codes of unprotected devices. B&D has addressed that problem with Tri-Tran+ technology, which generates a new random code every time the garage door is operated.
Wireless wall-mounted remote controls can be super handy if you want to open the garage but don’t have your keys and remote in hand. We have two options; a stylish white button version comes standard with your opener and a wall mount with extra-large buttons is also available. Both are compatible with all B&D motors using TB-6 and TB-5 remote controls. You can easily install the large button model yourself, with no wiring necessary.

Got a busy household with children coming and going, or regular visits from extended family? An Entry Keypad allows entry to the garage without a remote control, all you need is a PIN and you’re away. You can pop out for a walk without having to carry anything and forget about rushing home from the office because children have lost their keys. No one need ever be locked out of the house again with a garage entry keypad.
